For this project, I worked to bring the e-book vision of a wellness coach to life. The process began with a presentation of two distinct style guides, based on buyer personas developed from interviews. After the client made her selection, I began establishing a layout pattern that would continue throughout the book, creating a table of contents, chapter pages, and recipe pages. The project culminated in an ePub and mobi export for full distribution.

In-House Design Work for IT Training Company

All work shown here was completed while working as an in-house designer for a global IT training company. My work spanned print and web, although a large portion of my projects were UX-related and involved optimizing pages for conversion. Homepage Redesign: After running some analytics, we found that users were not scrolling beyond “the fold” to see our promotion content blocks that were lower down the page. To remedy this, we added links in our redesigned, on-brand header that linked farther down the page. Postcard Design: These postcards were designed for a technology conference to encourage attendees to register for a trial version of a new program. Business Cards: I regularly created business cards for employees, adjusting for proper bleeds and color settings. Brochure Design: This brochure was created specifically for our India team to help prepare for a local conference.

Additionally, the client also had some existing iconography, so I had to work within a certain illustration style, taking into account shadows, highlights, and tones. Here, you will see two distinct treatments of the icons.

We began by creating mood-boards to capture colors, textures, and styles that she wanted to associate with her brand and her business. Here, you will see the three concepts I initially presented. She then selected one and we fine-tuned the design from there, developing it for use in other contexts.

Realty Brand Design

For this client, a Philadelphia-based real estate company, I was asked to develop a logo that communicated a hip, modern vibe that would appeal to their young adult target audience. As always, I began on paper, sketching thumbnail ideas, before I settled on this design that uses clean lines and Philly imagery to convey their brand. Other deliverables included two banner designs for a realty trade show.
